Dual Horizon Studio is a French game developer dedicated to creating premium narrative RPGs inspired by the classics, with a focus on storytelling and deep gameplay systems.
Our ambition is to craft immersive worlds inhabited by complex, believable characters and meaningful stories. With decades of experience in entertainment production, we know how to bring them to life.
A first look at Velorys, our debut title, recorded from the in-engine Unreal Engine 5 prototype.
Velorys is a narrative JRPG set in a Renaissance-inspired fantasy world, blending classic RPG sensibilities with modern gameplay systems.
We have already produced a fully playable 30-minute prototype in Unreal Engine 5, with all assets created in-house by our 12-person team.

A lifelong JRPG enthusiast, I have worked for over a decade as a product manager and producer across anime, film, television and video games with both Japanese and French entertainment companies.
I began working on Velorys in 2025 with the ambition of creating the kind of narrative RPGs that inspired me growing up. My favorite games include Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VI & IX, Valkyrie Profile, Persona 4 and Baldur's Gate 3.

For over 25 years, I've worked on games and interactive experiences across design, development and production, from creating and shipping an indie title to leading the technical direction on Syberia: The World Before and Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy.
Across decades of playing and building games, the experiences that stayed with me all share a common DNA: strong RPG systems, adventure and rich storytelling that transport players into believable worlds. I joined Dual Horizon Studio to bring my technical, design and production experience to a project I deeply believe in.
Velorys is being developed by a multidisciplinary team of artists, programmers, designers, animators, musicians and voice actors brought together by a shared passion for RPGs and immersive storytelling.
